Air navigation service providers have a new starting point for finding environmental assessment resources. EUROCONTROL and EASA announced the AVENIR Environmental Catalogue on 28 September, bringing together tools, dashboards and operational examples.

The accessible catalogue separates modelling tools from monitoring dashboards and use cases. Its mapping tables help users identify resources relevant to particular topics, flight phases and performance indicators.

That structure is relevant to analysts and operational teams exploring fuel burn, air traffic management inefficiencies or reporting methods. As an editorial inference, it could make the initial search for suitable approaches more focused; it does not itself demonstrate an emissions reduction.

The launch statement describes a non-prescriptive resource and says it does not rank or validate individual solutions. The catalogue also warns that links to third-party tools are not endorsements and that users should assess their suitability against provider documentation.

EUROCONTROL says the collection will develop further, including additional material on non-CO₂ aviation impacts. That is planned development, rather than a claim that all such material is already available. The announcement introduces an information resource, not a new operating requirement.
