PORT LOUIS, Mauritius — Emirates plans to replace the Boeing 777 on its daily Dubai–Mauritius EK709/710 service with an Airbus A350 from 1 November 2026.
The change announced on 22 October concerns one daily rotation. Emirates’ two daily A380 services to the island will continue alongside it.
What changes on board
The A350 is scheduled with 298 seats: 32 in Business Class, 28 in Premium Economy and 238 in Economy. Business Class has a 1-2-1 layout with direct aisle access, while Premium Economy uses a 2-3-2 arrangement. The Business Class seats convert to fully flat beds for rest.
For passengers, the aircraft swap brings a different cabin product to an existing service. It is a planned deployment, not an additional flight or an aircraft already introduced on the route.

The daily timetable
EK709 is scheduled to leave Dubai at 07:55 and arrive in Mauritius at 14:40. EK710 departs Mauritius at 18:30, reaching Dubai at 01:10 the next day. All times are local.
